Raymond Dunn Sr.

Dr. Dunn is a graduate of; Florida A& M Univ., B. S. Degree, Univ. of Miami, M. Ed. Degree, Nova Southeastern Univ., Ed. D. Degree and further studies at Fla. Atlantic Univ. He is an educator, college administrator, community activist, an author of children story books and the Co-host of the pod/video cast “Through Black Eyes Unfiltered”. Dr. Dunn served as Dean of Student Services for two colleges, adjunct professor, Nova Southeastern University graduate school and a fulltime professor at Broward College. He was instrumental in initiating two academic programs to enhance the college graduation rate of minority males; The Challenge Center at Miami Dade Community College and the Community of Leaners Achieving Student Success {CLASS} at Broward Community College.

Marvin Dunn

Dr. Marvin Dunn taught in the Department of Psychology at Florida International University for thirty-four years, retiring as chairman of the department in 2006.

He earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He co-authored The Miami Riot of 1980: Crossing the Bounds, with Bruce Porter and authored Black Miami in the Twentieth Century (1997), The Beast in Florida: A History of Anti-Black Violence (2012) and A History of Florida: Through Black Eyes (2016).
